2. Who is responsible for refunds
The Organizer is the supplier of the Event and is responsible for refunds owed for it. QubeTicket holds and processes payments as the Organizer's agent and issues refunds on the Organizer's behalf. Every Organizer agrees to meet this Policy and the minimum refund rights required in their country (the statutory refund floor), and our systems do not let an Organizer set a refund policy below that floor.
3. Cancelled Events
- If an Event is cancelled, we will email you and refund the Ticket price to your original payment method. You do not need to apply.
- Booking or service fees are refunded too when the Event is cancelled, unless the law of your country allows otherwise and this was clearly shown at checkout. [Decide: refund booking fees on cancellation — recommended: yes]
- We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incurred, except where the law requires.
4. Rescheduled, moved or materially changed Events
- Your Ticket stays valid for the new date or venue unless you ask for a refund.
- You can ask for a refund within [14] days of our notice of the change (or the period required in your country, if longer). After that window, your Ticket is treated as accepted for the new date.
- A change of support act, minor timing change or change to the running order is not a material change.
5. Change-of-mind refunds
- Each Organizer chooses whether to offer change-of-mind refunds and, if so, up to how many days before the Event. This is shown on the Event page and at checkout.
- If change-of-mind refunds are offered, request one through Support with your booking reference before the window closes. Refunds are subject to Organizer approval and may exclude fees, as stated on the Event page.
- If the Ticket is marked non-refundable, change-of-mind refunds are not available. You will have acknowledged this at checkout.
- In countries where the law requires change-of-mind refunds, they are always available regardless of this setting.
6. How refunds are paid
- Refunds are made to the original payment method only, in the original currency. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- We aim to start a refund within 5 business days of it being approved. It can then take 5–10 business days (sometimes longer for international cards or bank transfers) for your bank to show it.
- A refunded Booking's Tickets are cancelled and will not scan. Reserved seats go back on sale.
- We issue an adjustment note reversing the original tax invoice. Any loyalty points earned on the Booking are reversed, and a promo code used on it may be restored if still valid.
- We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or bank fees charged by your card issuer.
7. Partial refunds
If you bought several Tickets in one Booking and only some are refundable (for example, a partial cancellation), we refund the Tickets concerned. Discounts are applied proportionally.
8. Organizer cannot pay
If an Event is cancelled and the Organizer has already been paid, we will ask the Organizer to fund the refunds and may recover the amount from their future payouts. We will tell you if there is a delay, and keep you updated. Your statutory rights against the Organizer are not affected.
9. How to ask for a refund
- Go to the Support page and open a ticket (or email [support email]).
- Give your booking reference, the email used to book, and the reason.
- We will reply within 2 business days with the outcome or next steps.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 (India), or the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK). If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact your local consumer authority (for example your state Fair Trading office, the National Consumer Helpline 1915 in India, or Citizens Advice in the UK).
